Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
QMP (Queue Management Platform) is operated by Aoire Technologies, headquartered at 3rd floor, 167, 9th Main Rd, Sector 6, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102. This policy explains what personal data we collect through QMP, why, and how it's handled, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
2. Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier — we never see or store your Google password.
Queue and token information: when you join a queue, we collect the details needed to serve you — your name, phone number, the business and branch you're queuing with, and your token's status and timing.
Business information: if you register a business, we collect your business details, branch and staff information, and any advertisement or profile content you upload.
Notifications: if you enable push notifications, we store the browser subscription details needed to deliver them. You can revoke this at any time through your browser.
Technical information: we automatically log standard technical data such as IP address and timestamps — primarily to secure accounts (for example, rate-limiting repeated login attempts) and to maintain an audit trail of account and business changes.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on QMP, and we don't use cookies for anything beyond keeping you signed in and protecting your session (a session cookie and a CSRF-protection cookie).
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account, and authenticate you when you sign in
- To operate the core service — joining queues, issuing tokens, showing live wait times, and running the display board
- To send account-related and queue-related notifications (verification emails, password resets, queue and token updates) by email or push
- To keep QMP secure — detecting and limiting abuse such as repeated failed logins
- To maintain the audit trail businesses and administrators rely on for accountability
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:
- With the specific business (and its staff) whose queue you've joined — they need your name and contact details to serve you
- With service providers who help us operate QMP: Google (for Sign-In), Amazon Web Services (for storing uploaded media, hosted in AWS's India / Mumbai region), and our email delivery provider (for sending notifications)
- Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of QMP, our users, or the public
5. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and queue/token history for as long as reasonably needed for the business's own records and for the analytics features we provide to them. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time (see Section 7).
6. Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, never in plain text. We use rate-limiting on sensitive actions like login and password reset, and access to business/customer data is scoped to the relevant business's own staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You can:
- Access and update your account information from your profile at any time
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data
- Withdraw consent for optional features like push notifications at any time

8. Children's privacy
QMP is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to QMP or applicable law. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do.
