Acceptable Use Policy

What businesses, staff, customers and event guests may and may not do on QMP, so the queue stays fair for everyone.

1. Everyone

  • Use QMP only for lawful purposes and in line with our Terms of Service.
  • Give accurate information. Do not impersonate another person or business.
  • Do not attempt to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours.
  • Do not interfere with the platform, including the display board, notifications and APIs, or try to overload it.
  • Do not run scripts, bots or automated tools to join queues or read data.

2. Customers and event guests

  • Join a queue for yourself or someone who has asked you to. Do not hold places you do not plan to use.
  • Do not create duplicate tokens, use fake names or numbers, or share pass codes that were meant for one person.
  • Be respectful to staff and other guests in messages and chats.

3. Businesses and staff

  • Keep your listing, hours and services accurate. Do not mislead customers about waiting times or availability.
  • Use customer details only to serve the customer and run your queue. Do not sell them or use them for unrelated marketing.
  • Keep staff logins private. Each person should use their own account.
  • Upload advertisements and profile content only if you have the rights to it. Content must not be unlawful, hateful, deceptive, sexually explicit or infringing.
  • Send customers only messages that relate to their queue, booking or your service.

4. Event organisers

  • Tell guests clearly what details are collected and why.
  • Do not use attendee details after the event for anything other than what guests were told.

5. What we may do

If we believe this policy has been broken, we may warn you, remove content, cancel tokens, limit features, or suspend or end access. For serious or repeated abuse we may do this without notice, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

6. Reporting a problem

If you see something that breaks this policy, email info@aoirec.com with a link or token number and a short description. We review reports promptly and will tell you the outcome where we can.
